NEET PG 2024 Exam: Registrations, Dates, Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus, Cut Offs
NEET PG 2024 registration started online on April 16, 2024. The last date to submit NEET PG 2024 application form is May 6, 2024 till 11:55 pm. NEET PG 2024 exam date was preponed earlier from July 7 to June 23, 2024. The revised exam date was announced following a meeting held among various stakeholders including National Board of Examinations (NBE), Post Graduate Medical Education Board, Directorate General of Health Science, National Testing Agency (NTA) etc. Candidates must note the internship deadline remains unchanged, i.e August 15, 2024. NBE will announce the result by July 15, 2024.
Earlier, NBE reduced exam fee for NEET PG 2024 for all categories. The fee has been reduced by INR 750. Earlier, candidates of general category had to pay INR 4,250 as exam fee. NEET PG 2024 date along with other crucial details for the exam including application process, eligibility criteria, pattern etc will be released along with the official information brochure.
Candidates have to register online to access and submit NEET PG 2024 application form. Registration can be done at nbe.edu.in once NBE will activate the link. Candidates must note NBE will accept only online application form for NEET PG 2024. Offline or any other mode of applications will not be accepted for the exam.
NEET PG 2024 application form process involves registration, filling details in the application form, uploading documents, paying application fee and choosing exam centre. For registration, candidates should have a valid email ID and mobile number. After successful registration, a login ID and password is generated. NBE will issue admit card to candidates who apply successfully and fulfill all other eligibility criteria. NEET PG 2024 admit card will be released online and candidates will have to download it with login credentials.
What is NEET PG ?
NEET PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post-Graduation), is conducted for providing admission to various MD (Doctor of Medicine)/ MS (Master of Surgery) and PG Diploma courses across the country. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducts the exam once a year in computer-based mode. The scores are also used for taking admission to postgraduate MBBS DNB courses. The exam is conducted for 13,649 MS seats, 26,168 MD seats, and 922 PG Diploma seats offered by various medical colleges in India.

NEET PG 2024 Application Form Process
NEET PG application form process involves steps such as registration, filling up details in the application form, paying exam fee, and uploading documents. The application process starts with registration. Only those candidates who register themselves on the official website of NBE, nbe.edu.in can submit the application form for NEET PG. A login ID and password will be generated after the successful NEET PG registration 2024 process. To complete the application process, candidates have to upload scanned copies of photographs and signatures. These images must be as per the specifications mentioned by NBE. Candidates will have to pay a non-refundable application fee to complete NEET PG applications 2024.
