INI CET 2024 Exam: Registrations, Dates, Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus, Cut Offs

INI CET 2024 final registration started online on April 6, 2024. Candidates will have to generate Exam Unique Code to submit application form for INI CET 2024 exam. The final registration was supposed to start with generation of exam unique code from April 5, 2024 but it was delayed. The last date to generate exam code and submit application form for AIIMS INI CET 2024 is April 26, 2024INI CET 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on May 19, 2024. 

Earlier on March 18, 2024, AIIMS had started INI CET 2024 basic registration online. Candidates had to complete basic registration on the official website. According to the schedule availlable on the official website, the last date for INI CET July 2024 basic registration was April 12, 2024, 12 pm. Candidates could check the status of INI CET application form 2024 from April 13 to April 15, 2024. According to latest updates, AIIMS has released tentative seat matrix for INI CET 2024 July session. Around 1,290 seats will be allotted in July session. Final seat matrix will be released right before INI CET counselling 2024.

Candidates must note the application process for AIIMS INI CET involves basic and final registration. Basic registration is mandatory to submit INI CET application form. Those who complete the basic registration can proceed for the final registration. Candidates have to submit basic information such as personal, contact detail and upload images as part of the basic registration form. A login ID and password is generated after basic registration.  The whole application process comprises steps such as basic registration, confirming the status of basic registration, generation of EUC code, and final registration. 

The final registration includes generation of the Exam Unique Code (EUC) and completion of INI CET application form. AIIMS will upload admit card for candidates who submit application form and fulfill all other eligibility criteria. INI CET admit card 2024 will be uploaded online and candidates will have to donload it with login credentials. INI CET date 2024 for admit card has been released by AIIMS, i. e May 13, 2024.

Candidates will have to score the minimum cut off to qualify for INI CET PG 2024 exam. The minimum cut off is different for different category. The qualifying INI CET 2024 cut off is 50 percentile for general category while for the reserved category, the cut off is 45. The result PDF comprising the list of qualified candidates will be uploaded on the official website. Qualified candidates will be able to download the scorecard from the official with login details.

Qualified candidates will be participating in counselling for seat allotment. Candidates have to score minimum cut off to become eligible for AIIMS INI CET counselling 2024. Candidates have to register on the official website and declare choice for college and course for the counselling. What is INI CET?

INI CET is the abbreviation for Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi conducts the entrance test for admission to PG courses such as Masters of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM), and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh). INI CET scores are valid for admission to 18 AIIMS, JIPMER Puducherry, PGI Chandigarh, NIMHANS, Bengaluru, and SCTIMST, Trivandrum. With effect from 2021, all these institutes admit PG students on the basis of the marks obtained in the INI CET exam only. Earlier these institutes used to conduct separate exams for admission to PG courses. INI CET examination is conducted twice a year, January and July session.

INI CET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

INI CET 2024 Admission Process

The admission process for various postgraduate courses for July session begins with exam registration. Once candidates complete both the basic and final registration process, they are issued admit cards. After this, candidates have to appear for the examination, which is conducted online at various test centres in India. Those who qualify for the stipulated cut-off become eligible for admission to various masters-level programmes such as MS, MD, MDS, DM, and MCh.

INI CET 2024 Application Form Process

The first step of the INI CET 2024 July session application process is basic registration. Candidates will have to submit basic candidate information as part of the registration. They will have to register themselves on the official website of AIIMS Delhi through a valid email ID and mobile number. Then they have to check the provisional status of their registration as well till the given deadline set by AIIMS. After the basic registration, candidates have to fill INI CET application form. 

The next step is code generation and final registration. The Examination Unique Code (EUC) is generated only to those candidates whose basic registration is accepted. This code is a mandatory requirement to proceed with the final registration. After the generation of the code, candidates will have to complete the final part of the application form and submit the application fee.
