In addition, the Consulting sector emerged as the top recruiting sector with 167 students (31.6%) bagging offers from this sector during IIM Calcutta placements in 2024.

In collaboration with the Alfred P. Sloan School of Management (MIT), The Ford Foundation and Indian industry, and the Government of West Bengal, IIM Calcutta was established in 1961. For the PGP course (or MBA) admission, candidates with a valid CAT score that matches the cutoff for admission at IIM Calcutta get a seat. STEP 1: IIM Calcutta Application Process 2023
Indian Institute of Management Calcutta application process is carried out in online mode. For DPM course admission, after the online registration, candidates shall send a copy of the filled form along with all the documents through the post to the institute.
STEP 2: Written Ability Test (WAT)/ Personal Interview (PI) Round
Candidates shortlisted on merit in the CAT entrance test and academic merit have to take the WAT/PI round. Further, a commutative score is calculated for final selections. STEP 3: Declaration of Final Merit List
