WUD Aptitude Test 2024 – The World University of Design is currently accepting applications for WUD DAT 2024. The last date to fill out the WUD DAT 2024 application form is April 11, 2024.
The WUDAT 2024 exam will be conducted on April 13, 2024. The exam will be conducted in an online mode.
The scores of the aptitude test will be used to shortlist candidates for a campus interview.
The interview will be conducted by a panel that will ask questions related to the field of study selected by the student. Creative evidence (portfolio, drawings, photographs, crafts, etc.) in hard copy may also be showcased.
Note that candidates who have qualified UCEED, NID, and NIFT entrance exams for B.Des and M.Des degree programs are eligible for the direct portfolio round.
What is WUD Aptitude Test?
WUD Aptitude Test (WUDAT) is a university-level entrance exam conducted by the World University of Design to shortlist aspirants for admission to various UG and PG design courses offered by the institute.
Undergraduate courses: BArch (5 years), BDes – Product Design, Interior Design, Lifestyle Accessory Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Communication Design, Animation & Game Design (4 Years), BVA – Creative Painting, Digital Drawing & Illustration (Applied Arts) (4 Years), BBA – Design Strategy and Management, Retail Business Management (3 years), BA (H), BPA
Postgraduate courses: MDes – Industrial Design, Transportation Design, User Experience and Interaction Design, Interior and retail Design, Communication Design, International Fashion Business (2 years), MVA – Art Education, Curatorial Practices in Art, Contemporary Art Practice (2 Years) and MBA – Design Strategy and Management.
Besides, WUD also offers diplomas in Fashion Design, Graphics & web Design and Photography. The World University of Design conducts DAT (Design Aptitude Test), AAT (Art Aptitude Test) and GAT (General Aptitude Test) exams to shortlist aspirants for admission. Through these entrance exams, the World University of Design evaluates the aptitude of aspirants towards creative education. WUDAT is of three hours duration and is conducted as an offline exam.
Valid scores of NIFT entrance exam, NID entrance exam, and UCEED are considered in lieu of WUD Aptitude Test. CAT, CET, MAT, and XAT scores are accepted in lieu of GAT. Candidates seeking admission to architecture courses are informed that admission is offered on the basis of the score in NATA/ JEE Main scores.

WUD DAT 2024 – Courses and Admission Process

WUDAT 2024 Application Form
The application form for WUD DAT 2024 is currently open; the last date for filling out the application form is April 11, 2024.
Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria need to apply before the last date.
To fill out the form, candidates need to follow the steps given below.
Step 1: Fill WUDAT Application Form
Candidates can fill WUDAT application form either offline or on the official website of the World University of Design.
To apply offline, the candidate needs to download the application form from the college website or can ask for it on an email or can collect it from the campus.
Those going for offline mode can fill out the application forms and send it via email or post on World University of Design Plot No.1, Rajiv Gandhi Education City, NH 1, Haryana – 131029
Step 2: Pay the application fee
The application fee for WUDAT is INR 1,000/-, which can be paid by RTGS/NEFT bank transfer for online mode and by cash/cheque/ Demand Draft for offline mode.
Step 3: Download WUDAT Admit Card
Next, candidates will get their WUD Aptitude Test 2024 admit card through email.
Step 4: Appear for WUDAT
After receiving the application form, it will be processed for eligibility of the candidate. Eligible candidates will be informed about the date/time of the tests/interview. Candidates need to appear for their WUD Aptitude Test as per the details mentioned on their admit card.
Step 5: Check results
The students shall be shortlisted on the basis of their performance and the list of students qualifying the next stage would be announced online.
WUDAT Eligibility Criteria
The eligiblity criteria for different programmes are given below:
Eligibility for Bachelor Programmes: Candidates who have completed their 10+2 level or equivalent exams like AISSCE/ IB/ ICSE/ State Board etc. (in relevant stream) are eligible to apply for undergraduate degree programmes.
Eligibility for Masters Programmes: Candidates who have completed 3/4-year full-time bachelors in Design/ Engineering/Architecture/ Fine Arts or equivalent, are eligible to apply. Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying exams and the results are expected to be declared by 31st October of the admission year can also apply.
Age Limit: The upper age limit for applying in bachelor programmes is restricted to 20 years relaxable up to 3 years on proving genuine evidence of discontinuity in education profile. However for Postgraduate programmes there is no age limit.
WUDAT 2024 Syllabus
The syllabus of WUD Aptitude Test aims to assess the general IQ level, logical reasoning, vocabulary and lateral thinking of a candidate. The test will assess the design aptitude of candidates. Questions asked in the exam will be of 10+2 level for the Undergraduate programme. For PG programmes, the level will be of graduation.
WUDAT 2024 Pattern
The pattern of WUDAT exam is such that candidates had to attempt 15-20 questions in a duration of 2 hours. WUD Aptitude Test is conducted in the offline mode. The mode of instruction in WUD Aptitude Test exam is English. The exam comprises two sections.

WUDAT 2024 Admit Card
WUDAT 2024 admit cards were released by the institute four to five days prior to the exam. Candidates received their admit cards through email. They also had the option to download their admit card from the official website of the institute as well. The hall ticket is a mandatory document that a registered student must produce at the time of the entrance exam.
