NIT Trichy cutoff 2024 will be released after each round of JoSAA counselling for admission to the BTech and Integrated BTech courses. NIT Trichy JEE Main cutoff 2024 will be released in the form of opening and closing ranks for different categories under the AI Quota. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will conduct 6 rounds of JEE Main Counselling in June. For NITs, two additional counselling rounds will be conducted by CSAB to fill the vacant seat. The JEE Main Session 2 results have been released. Along with the result, NTA has also released the JEE Main percentile. Candidates who qualify for the JEE Main cutoff percentile are eligible for the next round of admissions, which is JEE Advanced. Those who meet the JEE Advanced cutoff will be called for the round-wise JoSAA counselling, which is expected to begin on June 10, 2024. NIT Trichy Admission Process 2024
NIT Trichy admission process includes the application process, selection round, cutoff, merit list, and counselling. Find below the complete process around NIT Trichy admission 2024:
Step 1: NIT Trichy Application Process
Candidates seeking admission at NIT Trichy are required to complete the application form for the course-specific entrance exam. After appearing for the respective entrance exams, candidates have to apply for the counselling process for the final seat allotment. However, candidates seeking admission to PhD courses are through the official website.
Step 2: Selection Rounds
For its flagship BTech course, NIT Trichy admits students with a valid JEE Main score. Candidates are allotted seats through JoSAA Counselling. Admission to MTech is through GATE, followed by CCMT Counselling. Similarly for MSc admission, IIT JAM and CCMN Counselling are required. However, NIT Trichy MBA admissions are done through CAT score, where the shortlisted candidates have to appear for the PI round.
Step 3: Release of Cutoff list, Counselling & Admission Confirmation
The cutoff for BTech, MTech and MSc courses is released by the respective counselling bodies. Whereas, for MBA admission, the institute releases direct merit lists after declaring the final results of all rounds. The shortlisted candidates are then required to pay the admission fee to confirm their seats.
